Installation Note 69252: A SAS® Deployment Manager update configuration fails when you run add-on testing on the environment based on migration

When you use a SAS® Migration Utility (SMU) package to migrate to SAS® 9.4M8 (TS1M8), the SAS Deployment Manager update procedure fails due to an error in the Search Interface to the SAS Content configuration file, searchsas_gendefaults.xml:
Workarounds
- Edit searchsas_gendefaults.xml in the Software Depot: \SASDepot\product_data\searchsas_94180prtxxsp0_1\configure\searchsas_gendefaults.xml
- Find this line: <propertyselector property="smuProps" match="prior\.(.*)"/>
Revise the line to the following: <propertyselector property="smuProps" match="^prior\..*"/>
- Run the install phase and migration configuration phase.
- Perform the step(s) that caused the reported deployment failure (it appears that an upgrade was being run).
